Privacy and your data

What we collect

• Account: your name, email, and a hashed password if you create one here. Google or X sign-in gives us the name and email those services share. We never see that password.
• Appointment request: phone, vehicle year, make, model, trim, engine, VIN, mileage, what you need, the day you asked for, and up to four photos.
• Review: the name you choose to show, the vehicle, a star rating, and what you wrote. It stays private until the shop approves it.
• Estimate: if the shop writes you a price, we keep the customer details, vehicle, line items, total, and whether you approved or declined.

Why we keep it

So Bobby can research the vehicle, answer your request, send an estimate, and confirm an appointment. The shop also keeps a customer record — name, email, phone, and vehicle — so the desk can follow up or email you about the work or a shop special. Photos are only for that job. We do not sell your information, and we do not run ads or extra trackers on this site. A sign-in cookie, or a token while you are in the preview, is only there to keep you signed in.

Who can see it

The shop accounts can see requests, photos, reviews waiting for approval, and estimates. An approved review is public, with the name and vehicle you entered. An estimate link works for anyone who has that private link. Email Bobby sends from his own mailbox is stored in that mailbox, not only on this site.

How long, and how to delete it

We keep a request, its photos, and an estimate while the job is open and for the shop’s record after that, until you delete them or the shop no longer needs them. Signed-in people can erase the site copy of their account, requests, photos, reviews, and estimates sent to that email.

That button does not reach into Bobby’s email inbox. If a message was already sent or received there, email [email protected] and ask him to delete that too.

Children

This site is for people arranging work on a vehicle. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep their information.
